Chris Donovan

Chris Donovan, who used to be called “Cisco” back on that rock station is now the new PM drive jock on KATY-FM from 3pm to 7pm.  

Chris was born in Arizona and after living in numerous states on the west coast while growing up, he made the decision in his early 20’s to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He moved to CA in 2001 and after wiggling his way though venue gigs and being told numerous times that he had a “voice for radio”, he decided to pursue the field.

After attending the Academy of Radio & TV Broadcasting, downloading a version of Cool Edit off of LimeWire and creating beats with Fruity Loops, he was all in.  20 years later, he’s still doing most of those things, but with way better technology. Chris has built studios for GSN, launched a podcast for Jim Harbaugh and has flown across the country to record shows with numerous talents of all levels including Shaq, Jerry Springer and more.

Chris currently owns and operates his own Consulting / Production Company called This is Funner with his wife Evelyn Erives.  

Chris can be defined as a Podcaster/Radio Nerd/Father(to Juleen, Aiden, & Cassandra)/Husband (to Evelyn) & all around nice guy!
